Sky Buffalo has been in existence in one form or another
for the last fifteen years.  We offer many services with an
Aboriginal sensibility and focus.  We offer workshops in
drum making, culture, moccasins, and singing.  John
performs traditional hand drum songs and tells stories.
Kathryn has nineteen years experience creating
workshops and curriculum tailored to meet the needs of
any age group.

John, a Metis from Saskatchewan, brings experiences
gained from many years of sharing with and learning from
elders from all over Turtle Island (North America), as well
as time spent with the Aborigines in Australia, to his
workshops.

Kathryn was a teacher with the Waterloo Regional District
School Board for seventeen years.  One maternal
great-grandmother was a Mi'Kmaq from Newfoundland
and another was a Cree from Red River which has lead to
a life long interest in the Aboriginal communities.  Kathryn
has attended many ceremonies and teaching gatherings.
